How to Play Pinball

THE PLAYBOOK · CQXSJINPENG

Start Pinball by looking at the playing area and its controls. Reach 1,500 points before three balls drain. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Treat the first round as a chance to learn the controls. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.

Launch remaining balls after a drain.

Controls

Hold Left/Right flipper or arrow keys. Start / pause and New round are available. Use the control method described here for this activity. Contact us with the game and device if a control does not respond.

A useful example

Activate the flipper when the ball reaches its active surface. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Choose a deliberate next step.

Watch out for this

A drained ball cannot be rescued. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board.
